- 6:00 am – Pick-up from your hotel in Cusco. Begin your day with a scenic drive through the Sacred Valley, leaving Cusco behind as the Andes rise around you. Feel the anticipation build as you approach Ollantaytambo, a town rich in history and Inca heritage.
- Breakfast stop. Enjoy a revitalizing Andean breakfast to energize your body and spirit for the adventure ahead, surrounded by stunning mountain vistas.
- 9:00 am – Begin a challenging but rewarding 2-hour uphill hike to the Cachiccata Quarry. Explore the massive stone quarries where the Incas carved rocks with incredible precision, see ancient chullpas (Inca tombs), and walk along the stone ramps once used to transport enormous blocks for sacred constructions. Every step tells the story of a civilization that harmonized ingenuity and nature.
- Box lunch amid breathtaking scenery. Take time to rest, savor traditional flavors, and absorb the serene beauty of the surrounding valleys.
