Itinerary
Día
- 8:30 a.m. – Pick-up from the hotel in Cusco.
We begin our journey by picking you up from your hotel to head towards the Sacred Valley. - 9:30 a.m. – Moray Archaeological Site:
Our first stop is Moray, an ancient Inca agricultural laboratory where circular terraces were used to experiment with crops at different altitudes. Here, you’ll learn how the Incas adapted agriculture to varied ecological zones. - 10:30 a.m. – Town of Maras:
We continue to the charming colonial town of Maras, known for its stone-paved streets and long-standing tradition in salt production. We'll make a brief stop to take photos and appreciate its traditional architecture. - 11:00 a.m. – Maras Salt Mines:
Next, we visit the stunning salt mines of Maras, composed of over 3,000 stepped salt pools. You'll learn about the ancient salt extraction process still used today and have free time to explore and photograph the unique scenery. - 12:00 p.m. – Return to Cusco.
After our visit, we begin the journey back to the city. - 1:30 p.m. – Arrival in Cusco and drop-off at the hotel.
