Description
Discover one of the most important ceremonial centers on the Peruvian coast with our Half-Day Pachacamac Tour. Located just 30 kilometers south of Lima, the Sanctuary of Pachacamac was a major religious and administrative hub during both the pre-Inca and Inca periods. Thousands of pilgrims once came here to worship the god Pachacamac, believed to be the creator of the world and protector against earthquakes.
During this tour, you’ll explore pyramid-shaped temples, ceremonial plazas, and sacred precincts, all while enjoying stunning views of the ocean and the coastal desert. The archaeological site also features a modern museum that displays original artifacts, including the famous idol of Pachacamac.
This tour is perfect for those who want to learn about the pre-Hispanic history of Peru’s coast in a mystical and natural setting.
